Sepp Blatter will make way for a successor as FIFA president in four years' time if he is re-elected in June, he has announced.

Blatter is seeking a fourth term as FIFA president and is being challenged by Asian confederation chief Mohamed Bin Hammam.

The 75-year-old told UEFA's Congress in Paris on Tuesday that if he wins he will definitely stand down in 2015, saying: "You know very well that I am a candidate for the next four years as FIFA president but these will be the last four years for which I stand as a candidate."
He added: "Together we have the task of bringing together the adventure we have started.
"We want to ensure a better future for our youth."

The new president will be elected at a Fifa Congress which starts on 31 May.

With Bin Hammam vowing to increase Fifa's decision-making power and spread its considerable wealth, Blatter is facing his first challenge since Issa Hayatou took him on - and lost - in 2002.

Bin Hammam is also currently attending the Congress for European football's governing body, Uefa, as they lobby federation presidents for their vote on 1 June in Zurich.
Uefa members make up more than one quarter of the maximum 208 Fifa voters that Blatter and Bin Hammam will attempt to woo.
The winner needs a two-thirds majority of valid votes cast in the first ballot, or a majority in the second.

Fifa has set an 1 April deadline for other candidates to be nominated by a single member federation.
"We are in extra time," said Blatter, referring to the time left before the election. "Let's wait and see what the outcome will be."

Arsenal are at the top of the league at the moment and what better way to celebrate than supporting a good cause?

The Gunner WAGs have banded together to raise money and awareness of an important cause and of course they have got their fellas on board.

On Sunday Dec. 5, the "ABC for SOS ball" took place at Claridge's Hotel in London, England for SOS, the world's largest orphan charity. The aim of the event was to raise money for SOS Children’s orphanages in Zambia.

Manchester United Ready to Beat Chelsea to £35m La Liga Striker

Sir Alex Ferguson is preparing a massive bid to nab Atletico Madrid’s Argentine international Sergio Aguero, right under the noses of long term interest party Chelsea. The Old Trafford boss has been looking at potential striking signings this summer to help share the goal scoring duties with Wayne Rooney and has earmarked the 21 year old as an ideal signing.

Aguero has made it clear he would welcome a move to Stamford Bridge and seems certain to leave Atletico at the end of the season the only issue for Ferguson could be getting the funds together to make such a move for the highly rated youngster.

Even though Manchester United were named the richest club on the planet by Forbes magazine they are also heavily in debt and as such Sir Alex may struggle to persuade the Glazers to fork out the cash for the La Liga hotshot.

Sergio Aguero has been in stunning form over the past three seasons, netting 67 goals in the process, but a poor season has left Madrid’s ‘other’ club securely in mid table and are apparently in financial dire straits that could see them considering big offers for the former Independiente man.

Arsene Wenger may take risk on Robin van Persie in Arsenal's derby with Tottenham

Unrelated videos but they bring the lulz

Robin van Persie is in line for a dramatic comeback from injury in the north London derby at Tottenham on Wednesday night, providing Arsenal with a boost for the title run-in.
With Arsenal needing to make up ground on Chelsea and Manchester United, the return after five months out for the Dutch striker, who ruptured his ankle ligaments in November, will be a huge stimulus to Arsenal's campaign, which has been undermined by injuries to Cesc Fabregas, Andrey Arshavin and William Gallas.
Van Persie is back training with the first team and has maintained his all-round fitness while injured with swimming and gym work.

Last month observers in Holland were stunned to see Van Persie complete a daily work-out at AFC Amsterdam, a Dutch amateur club, where he was already back to shooting with full force and performing sprinting drills.
Arsene Wenger's caution may mean that he has to wait until next week at Wigan for his comeback but, at present, the odds are on a return at White Hart Lane, a game which, realistically, Arsenal must win to retain hopes of winning the title.

I miss this man SFM. I hope he is back soon but not before he is 100% fit so I am not so sure how I feel about this. I don't want to have him risked and then end up having him miss the rest of the season and the World Cup.

New boots he must be half-naked and dirty to handle. That'll make playing in them interesting.
