Inter Milan has officially signed Xherdhan Shaqiri!

Also:

Lukas Podolski has revealed Arsene Wenger declined to even say goodbye before he completed his loan move from Arsenal to Inter last week.

Podolski elected to join the Nerazzurri for the rest of the season after becoming disillusioned with a lack of opportunities at the Emirates Stadium this season, having made just 13 appearances in all competitions.

And the Germany international, who scored 19 goals in 60 appearances over two years at Arsenal but never managed to gain the trust of Wenger as a regular starter, has now accused the Frenchman of a lack of respect.

"He said nothing to me," Podolski told the Sun. "He did not call me or say goodbye.

"I don't need flowers or a kiss from him. But it is about respect, about saying goodbye. For me respect is important. Maybe he had other problems with me.

"I did everything for the club I possibly could have. I don't believe I did anything wrong. I did not get drunk in a club.

"I wish all of Arsenal and their amazing fans the very best for this season and I see myself as a Gunner. Nothing from him to me, though, but that is his way."

I don't know what to say but this is The Sun that's reported this so I won't believe it fully.

Also, I was going to do a transfer rumor roundup but I've fallen sick so I hope y'all don't mind waiting.

Bayern Munich is canny

Poor Poldi, Wenger sounds increasingly like such an arse! Oh well, I hope Poldi can make a good go of it at Inter.

Ah well, I understand Shaqiri, he tried really hard but he's no Robben. Wish him all the best at Inter.

Poor Poldi. When of the sports journalists here once said that he thought that Wenger could be a difficult man who could carry a serious grudge. Maybe he's right.

I like the dude, but...

shut your gob, Poldi. He realizes he's only on loan at Inter, right? Bad mouthing his employer ain't gonna aid his prospects this summer, especially if his stint at Inter doesn't go well.

Ahh Poldi I think interpersonal relations with the coach arwcwhat make or break his ability to play. So if he was on the outs with Wenger it is no wonder he was cruddy. Still think Arsenak desperately needs a Poldolski esque. Player with all those rechnical midfielders

Also yaaay on Shaqiri japprove

Good riddance to Shaq. I wish him well, but preferably somewhere else than Bayern!

Can Arsenal add in a buy-out clause to Poldi's loan after the fact? XD He is a clear drama magnet.

I will choose to currently believe that some/all of the quotes have been made up ala the stormgate business, b/c otherwise, Poldi is pretty dumb, imo. I don't think employees who bad-mouth employers get very far, personally, since that probably won't endear you to future employers, either.

(But homeboy has brought a good bit of this on himself with his social media digs. You wanted attention on your plight? You've got it now! Maybe waaaaay more than you wanted.)

Heh, if Poldi did make those comments, he might be wishing for Wenger after the 6 months are up. ;-P

But I'm getting the impression that he's one of those type of people who tend to like to blame others for their problems and feel little responsibility for their role in the whole thing. :-S I would love to get paid the amount of money he's getting paid! I could deal with the issues he's facing pretty easily, I think. XD (Yes, I've had a little tiny violin out for Poldi for a while now. ;-D Which pisses some people off, but whatever.)

I think being benched at the beginning was his fault, though. Wenger said he came back late from vacation (apparently I should've made a post about it, since people seemed to have missed it). So I don't know if Poldi thought that he was getting a free pass for being on Germany's team or what and just assumed that when he got over his WC injury he was an automatic slot into the starting XI or deserved to have a lot of playing time. I don't really know Wenger that well, but if he's one of those "get on the wrong foot/scorched earth type" of people, you kinda have to tip-toe around those. (I don't really think he's that way, though, considering his comments on Chezza.)

And nah, Poldi is a ball of sunshine. I think some folks think he can do no wrong (I mean, just look at the comments in this post). His social media campaign has worked! XD And he gets extra excuses/free passes because he was on the Germany WC team, apparently.

I dunno, many of these footballers seem to *really* thirst for ego-stroking, and if I were a manager, I probably wouldn't be up for that, either, especially considering the salary these guys get. Time to put on the big boy footballer shorts at this point. XD

I might watch something. I dunno, I'm trying to cut back on football a bit. But lately, I just haven't been awake during game time. Have watched some of the recent Arsenal games well after the fact since it's really easy for me to avoid scores. ;-) It does have benefits, like bathroom breaks!

Oh, I see, you just want me to talk about your favorite Limburger cheese, eh? So it's easier to do Chadli spams. I SEE YOU! We will see if I'm around for Mr. Cheez Whiz. XD And hey, that was a total collaborative thing, that certainly didn't happen on it's own, fer shure!
