Manchester City captain Carlos Tevez has revealed that he is considering hanging up his boots.

CARLOS TEVEZ admits he is seriously thinking about walking away from football forever.

The Manchester City captain was involved in a furious bust-up with boss Roberto Mancini at half-time during last Sunday's win over Newcastle at Eastlands.

It was the point where a simmering feud between the pair finally boiled over as the two men were pulled apart in the dressing room by players and staff.

The Argentina striker hinted in the summer that he was lacking motivation for the new season but his performances for City have remained strong.

Tevez has played in all his club's Premier League matches this term and has only been rested for a meaningless Europa League tie and the Carling Cup defeat at West Brom.

He feels Mancini, who tried to make light of their row, is over-reliant on him and is unsure how much more punishment his body can withstand.

It's NOTW, so take it with a grain of salt, but it does sound like something he'd say. )

Sunderland's striker, Darren Bent has been ruled out of Three Lions' Euro 2012 qualifier against Montenegro tomorrow. While training with the national side, Bent picked up a groin injury, becoming the 5th player to be ruled out of the clash at Wembley.

At a press conference, Fabio Capello confirmed that Bent would not be featuring in the qualifier and opted to play Crouch along side Wayne Rooney up front. (!!!!!!) The news is not a good one for the Three Lions as the two centre-backs, John Terry and Phil Jagielka have also been pulled out owing to their injuries.

blah blah talks more about the captaincy issue )

Cool, ANOTHER injury. BUT YAY CROUCHIE IS FINALLY GOING TO PLAY. THANK YOU, CAPELLO!

Moratti: "In winter, I'll bring them Messi."

The argentinean crack was yesterday in Milan, but to meet up with his friend Ezequiel Lavezzi.

Massimo Moratti, highest authority of Internazionale Milano, commented to a group of fans that "I'll bring you Messi in winter", according to what was published by Gazzeta dello Sport.

The president was being questioned for his transfer politics during the summer, so he shot back that phrase that shows his wish but that seems quite far-fatched, considering Inter would have to pay 250 million euros.

just lol. I doubt Moratti seriously meant anything when he said that, it probably was just to shut these fans up. I don't know why anyone would question his policy when Inter's bought amazing players lately, and almost every one has paid off.

Rio Ferdinand has regained the England captaincy from Steven Gerrard following the defender's return from injury.

The Manchester United player had been selected as England's captain for last summer's World Cup only to miss the tournament after injuring his knee in training.

Fabio Capello opted to pass the captaincy to Gerrard, but although the Liverpool midfielder was one of the few England players to emerge from South Africa with any credit, he will return to the ranks with Ferdinand as captain.

Ferdinand, who has ongoing concerns about a long-term back injury, is expected to start in central defence alongside Joleon Lescott for tomorrow's Euro 2012 qualifier against the Group G leaders Montenegro at Wembley.

So remember the Carlos interview with Studio 90 at Small Bar last week?

WELL, IT GETS BETTER! THERE IS MORE! Here's the behind the scenes video of what else happened that night, including interaction with fans and Carlos before and after the intverview.

I think it's better than the interview because it's more... real. Also, CAPTAIN AMERICA'S ADORABLENESS RIVALS HIS HOTNESS IN MY EYES. He just has the sweetest smile!

And remember the guy awkwardly sitting right behind Boca? He gets to ask a question.

Chelsea have been handed the shock news that summer signing Yossi Benayoun is set for several months out after a new Achilles injury was detected.

Benayoun, 30, had been expected to return to the first team fold imminently after damaging his calf in the League Cup defeat Newcastle United.

He had met up with the Israel national team for their Euro 2012 qualifiers against Croatia and Greece in the hope of playing, but a scan has revealed a more serious problem.

Speaking to the Israel Football Association website, Benayoun said: "I arrived with hope of helping the national team but unfortunately this is not a simple injury... an additional test will reveal what needs to be done.

According to our media, he'll be out for 6 months...

Story #2: Ferguson reveals Berba talk

Sir Alex Ferguson feels an early season chat has helped get the best out of Dimitar Berbatov this season.

More Berba-love )

Patrice and Giggsy say TYFYT and stay classy.

Edit: Now that we've talked about the topic at hand, can we discuss how sexy Chicharito is? Yes? No? Maybe so?
