The Belgium international is set to return to Goodison Park in a permanent deal after failing to become a first-team regular at Chelsea since arriving from Genk in 2011

Everton are set to confirm the €23 million signing of Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku.

Earlier in July that the Merseyside club made a breakthrough in negotiations with the Stamford Bridge club to seal a permanent deal for the 21-year-old.

Lukaku was keen to return to Goodison Park this summer and the Toffees eventually agreed two deals with Chelsea, with Jose Mourinho undecided on whether to allow Lukaku to leave permanently or on loan.

But the striker is now poised to complete his permanent switch to Everton and will return to Merseyside on a five-year deal.
