ONTD FOOTBALL

On May 29th there was a friendly game between Germany and Uruguay, and what a fun game it was!

Pretty game, pretty people, pretty crowd, lots of action at both nets: the final score was 2-1 to Germany but could easily be 3 more to either side - there were 3 disallowed goals too!

I made 39 gifs for this game. Most of them may or may not feature Mario Gomez: even though I stan La Celeste he's stolen the show - he just gifs himself, what can I do. :)
But don't worry, Suarez, Forlan and Muslera and others are there too.

Uruguyan fans didn't get quite what they wanted, but that Penarol fan did, soon (finals of Copa Libertadores, yeah!). :)

Still, Uruguyans got their unlikely hero. This is Walter Gargano's first goal for the NT!




He also apparently has kiss-inducing powers!


Meanwhile, Germans also got their NT virgin. Schurrle "don't call me Shirley" scored his first for Germany and 2nd of the game, and got to cuddle with Neuer as a reward.


And the 1st goal of the game was the one Uruguay would rather forget. Especially Diego Lugano. Gomez owned him in a spectacular fashion, and then celebrated it even better.

OK, back to Uruguayan action. Oh hai Maxi Pereira!


And hai El Loco Abreu, who came up with a novel idea of scoring - let one guy knock the goalie down, and the other shoot. Sadly, the ref didn't like this idea.


Gotta love El Loco - he comes out for 5 minutes, scores, and then negotiates shirt exchange with Gomez while he's in the middle of the brawl.

And hai Suarez.


He scored a disallowed goal too, and had his usual adventures on the pitch. As one comm said, with Suarez life is never boring.
